The next time you have to plan a party or event, before heading to the store for supplies, consider what you can have done at the print shop. Instead of picking out a pre-made invitation that you need to fill out with a pen, create your own. You can decide on a special font too, making them look special, and have the theme carried over from the invitations. While at the printers, do not forget to have "Thank You" notes and envelopes printed.
Decorations
A print shop has printers that can print on different materials, and different sizes. You can have a banner, plastic window decorations, posters and cardboard or vinyl wall hangings made. Use a graphics program on your home computer to create the look to the decorations you want or use pictures you have saved to your hard drive. Take the saved file to the print shop. Everything can be individualized and made to fit a theme.
Paper Products
Many printing shops offer additional services for things like napkins, plates, cups and plastic bags. You can create the design and then have the items made for you. If you are going to do this, do not wait until the last minute though. Give the company a couple of weeks to have everything ready for your event.
Brochures
If you are having an event for your business, and want the attendees to have information about the company or your products, have brochures printed up detailing the aspects you want known. You get to choose the style of the brochure and the type of paper that will best fit the event.
