5 Ways To Save Money When Ordering Custom T-Shirts

Custom t-shirts are great. You can create t-shirts that make the perfect, personalized gift for someone or t-shirts for a charity event, or you can make a t-shirt that is personalized to you. Whatever the case, if you want to order custom t-shirts, you will also want to ensure that you are saving money, especially if you are buying in bulk. Here are five ways to ensure that you are able to do so:

Consider the T-Shirt Style: Basic t-shirts are going to be the most affordable way to go. However, if you want t-shirts that are a bit more fitted, you are going to pay more, but it will be a bit cheaper if they are still unisex shirts. Typically, t-shirt styles are most expensive when they are form-fitted or women's.

Consider the Color: The lighter the color of the t-shirt, the cheaper making the t-shirts is going to be. This is because it's more time consuming to print on a dark t-shirt since the ink usually has to be applied more than once in order for the image or wording to show up. White or light gray is definitely going to be the cheaper option.

Consider the Colors of the Image: If you want more than one color ink, expect to pay more. To save money, you will want to reduce the amount of color you have in the design, if possible. Also, keep in mind that it doesn't matter how much of one color you are going to use. If you want to use pink ink for only one letter, it's still going to cost more because of the time that it takes to change inks and finish the customization of the shirt.

Consider Printing on Only One Spot: You need to keep in mind that it will be more expensive if you want to print on multiple spots on the t-shirt. For example, if you want an image on the front and back, it's going to cost more than it would just to have it printed on the front. The more areas of the shirt you want printed, the more time consuming it is going to be, which means you are spending more money to have it done.

Search for Promotions: Print shops want your business, so they will set up promotions that can help you save money. Typically this is done by giving you a discount for buying in bulk. Each shirt will be cheaper when you buy in bulk versus buying just one or a few. You may even find promotions that will allow you to save money when you want to use more than one color ink. Be sure to search for these if you want to have a more intricate and detailed design on your shirts.

When you know these five ways to save money when ordering custom shirts, you can be sure that you get a good deal.
